Launched in 2014 by Emrah Yuceer, Olivier Kraff and Thao Phan, Greyhours is a timepiece brand that has a simple philosophy – create a “perfect watch” that is available to everyone, not just a selected few. The trio delivered an affordable classic and trendy instrument crafted from exclusive materials that are more commonly found in luxury timepieces. 

There is one style, Essential, on offer which comes in two colourways –  a black model with black markers and a blue seconds hand and a white model with black markers and a red seconds hand. The hint of colour makes an impression and keeps the design relevant while boasting its clean and classic aesthetic. The Italian calf leather and design of the watch ensure it’s suited for all occasions and essentially shape accordingly to its owner.

Industrial designer Julien Gueuning came up with the concept of the Essential style and the result is an attractive and versatile instrument. A DLC coating on the stainless steel case and a sapphire crystal with antireflective treatment on both sides of the lens ensure that the watch is made to go through the motions of everyday living.
