Camo and a manskirt
Because, taking camo to the next level with a manskirt.
A man-skirt is not an item of clothing I am expecting many to wear. As much as men are becoming more aware of style and audacious in their dress sense, there is still a certain taboo when it comes to putting on a skirt. If I had to be truthful, it is not something I would wear either.
A suit with a matching skirt is a different story. A fitted or nicely cut suit is the epitome of masculinity (put any man in one, groom him and voila so the idea of tagging well-dressed to any man in a suit is perplexing since that is anyone and everyone but I digress) and style so any skirt controversy is slightly diminished.
Unless it is custom-made, a suit with a matching skirt is however rare but there are still ways to strengthen the idea of wearing a skirt. For men who do decide to adorn one one day (and I salute you now), try
1) sticking to a singular or similar colour palette, preferably something muted and/or bold
2) accessorising with materials like leather, brass or silver
3) wearing it with prints and patterns that are normally associated with masculinity (in this case, camo).
* Facial hair definitely adds a dimension of strength as evinced in this editorial featuring Givenchy.
