Most guys would assume that ties are only reserved for the corporate world or formal occasions such as weddings or races.
While there is truth to that, a tie is ultimately worn for decorative purposes and when adorned outside of the normal circumstances,
it instantly spruces up an outfit and can earn you compliments that you never saw coming.

Ties come in all sorts of styles (from skinny to clip-ons, from plains to prints) so it is essential to understand what could be worn and
how it could be worn. Next time you decide to use a tie as a casual accessory, try

1) wearing it on a printed shirt (to highlight your adventurous spirit)
2) tucking your tie into your shirt (to achieve a sense of casual quirkiness and to alleviate formalness)
3) pairing it with dress sandals (if done right, this will surprise many skeptics and if done wrong, well you can always try harder
