Croc and floral
Because, crocodile.
Most guys would assume that scarves are only worn to protect the neck from the cold during winter and that will be the end of the conversation. Many forget that there are lightweight scarves that are worn to shield the sun or wind or to double up as an accessory and give pizzazz to the outfit. Paul Smith, Burberry, Ermenegildo Zegna have been championing the scarf-as-accessory look, sending models down the runway over the last few seasons.
As a non-functional piece, a scarf can attract attention so it is fundamental to ensure that it is for good reasons. The most important thing is to be confident and comfortable as light weight scarves are often made from silk, sheer cotton or light wool which can sometimes come across as less than rugged fabrication. Keeping the rest of the ensemble simple is also vital as you want to allow the scarf to speak for itself.
When u become bold enough to wear a scarf for statement more than function, try
1) going sock-less (to continue that point of difference)
2) throwing in a lightweight blazer into the look (to highlight sophistication)
3) carrying a backpack (lightweight scarf says elegance, backpack says ruggedness – this creates a great contrast).
