Founded by Belgian-French fragrance expert Dimitri Weber, Goldfield & Banks offers luxurious, gender-neutral perfume featuring pure and rare Australian essences and oils that have been unexplored in modern perfumery.

Inspired by Australia’s lush and dramatic landscapes, the collection captures elements of and pays tribute to the aromatic and native beauty, seafoam coastline and ochre red desert. Blending ingredients extracted from Australian seeds, gums, wood, flowers, roots, pods and fruits with botanicals from all over the world, the result is a clever merge of the heritage and exotic.  

Weber has years of experience working with the luxury market from prestige brands like Bulgari to YSL, and noticing a gap in the market where native essences and oils are highlighted, he started Goldfield & Banks. The name is an homage to botanist and naturalist Sir Joseph Banks and it couldn’t be more appropriate.

Each fragrance has been formulated in close consultation with François Merle-Baudoin from the Melbourne-based Perfume House Parfumis. This partnership resulted in olfactory quality that is only found in French parfum brands. 

Having experienced the White Sandalwood, a sophisticated blend of exotic spices and rich wood, the scent is refined and modern luxury. It evokes the soothing fragrance of flora blooming in spring. Packaged in an elegant clear bottle, wooden cap and a label inspired by banksia leaves, Weber has created the perfect perfume that mixes the old, new and unknown.
