Parke & Ronen Spring Summer 2018
The collection: You always know what to expect from Parke & Ronen and their Spring Summer 2018 collection is no different. Not to say it’s a bad thing since the duo focuses on fit, fabrics and design that are relevant yet classic and quality that will see you wearing their garments season after season.
Showcasing a variety of swimwear and sportswear at New York Fashion Week Men’s, there was plenty of mesh, linen, European-style short shorts and patterns. Summery colours like pastel blue, pistachio green and deep coral were styled with bleached prints and 70s floral, giving the collection a great mix of vintage and contemporary.
The brand: After meeting in 1993, Parke Lutter and Ronen Jehezkel founded Parke & Ronen in 1997 when Lutter graduated from Parsons School of Design. Fusing their contrasting knowledge and skills of haute couture and American sportswear, the result is retro-inspired contemporary classics in premium fabrics.
We love: The drop shoulder, bold stripe sweater is perfect for taking you from poolside to bar while the cropped sleeves keep things interesting and modern.
