Palomo Spain Pre Spring Summer 2018

The collection: For pre SS18, Palomo Spain approaches the range from a more relaxed and informal style inspired by his homeland’s aesthetics. While the pieces are subdued and less extravagant, designer Alejandro Gómez Palomo instills a more classical and acessible couture that translate well for the streets.
Chantilly lace are used for both dresses and suits while copious sequins and pinstriped suits – a revisited version of the flamenco outfits – finish up the cohesive collection.
The brand: Palomo Spain was born in 2015 after Palomo’s presented his final collection at London College of Fashion. Focusing on craftsmanship and intricate detailing, he pushed the boundary by mixing masculine tradition and feminine aesthetics. His collections exude sublime beauty, often presented at exotic locations and intimate settings.
We love: The polka dot bell bottom pants with matching top, styled with big hoop earrings, are a clever interpretation of flamenco costumes.
Stocked at: Opening Ceremony (NYC, LA and Japan) and Grapevine (Tokyo)
