Milano140 AW17

Founded by Michele Canziani, Stefano Ghidotti and Lorenzo Torchio, Milano 140 was born from a need to reinvent classical pieces with quality expression and attention to details.
The AW17 collection sees Milano 140 revisit retro wardrobe and injecting their own contemporary spin. Fabrics are paired to highlight style and functionality while the ends slip out in an edge-to-edge seam. Nylon and gabardine are juxtaposed with cool wool to renew the old “male classic”.
The military green and burgundy palette adds a sense of sophistication while the check pattern echoes the heritage quality. The trio delivers a range of oversized silhouette and fit but mixes in unexpected elegance thanks to the use of severe shapes.
The name Milano 140 was inspired by the building number where the first laboratory was born, in a small town in Northern Italy.
While the brand craftsmanship is rooted in their Italian heritage, there’s a sense of youth irreverence in the lookbook, compounded by artistic influences, redefining the sense of Made in Italy.
